impacted in ANY MATERIAL, TANGIBLE WAY on EITHER side... Not negatively, not positively...

I hate to have to clue you, but she was killed by a White Nationalist hell bent on hurting people he opposed, and NOT by a "liberal puke"... or don't you know that SHE was protesting the monuments and was run down by one of the people she was protesting? Someone who PROVED why there's an enormous issue there to protest?

Rationally speaking, it's totally disingenuous to suggest that HER DEATH was in ANY WAY anything less than loosely related to Confederate statues... It was DIRECTLY RELATED to hatred on the part of White Nationalists who want the monuments to remain as SYMBOLS of White Superiority... Has NOTHING to do with history or the Civil War... or even really to do with folks, such as yourself, who OPPOSE taking monuments down for reasons OTHER than racist beliefs...

I certainly HOPE that you can see the difference between the KKK, NEO-NAZIS, and other hate groups who, by citing her death, you've just allowed to be the FACE of those who want to preserve the monuments and those who actually care about the monuments for reasonable, civilized, rational, and historical significance?? Tossing HER into the mix as an example is tantamount to you claiming association with the hate groups the man who KILLED HER belongs to ... Hate is hate... Is THAT the side you're on here? If not, then STOP trying to use her death as proof of YOUR position...

So, remove the situation & death that (supposedly) has NOTHING to do with YOUR position and tell us AGAIN how the monuments & the legitimate arguments pro & con literally impact anyone's life pro OR con?

Like I've repeatedly stated, it's an EMOTIONAL ISSUE on both sides... So, one must weigh the pluses and minuses of those EMOTIONS and REASONABLE REACTIONS to evaluate each INDIVIDUAL monument on a case by case basis... Which ones legitimately belong where they are and which ones are reasonably viewed as having racist or improper symbolism. We should NOT arbitrarily take them all down, NOR arbitrarily leave them all up...

Some SHOULD come down, some SHOULD remain... So, have a dialogue on which is which rather than tossing in red herrings designed to supposedly support YOUR position, but who actually WEAKEN it in reality...
