JP was one of the LAST

people I'd expect to be a cop. He was one of those who couldn't do much of anything. Didn't work at anything. Did no homework and lied about it. He was a "drummer" for me, but never mastered the five stroke roll. He sat in a chair talking and goofing off. I gave every student a private lesson once a week, in a scheduled sectional time. JP never showed up at his scheduled time. Reminders didn't affect him.

I bet as an adult, he couldn't do anything else, but became a cop. Somehow with this incident, I don't see much future for him in police work either. Maybe he has a future in politics?
