along the coastline. He & my Mom lived right on the Homosassa River for several years and got WALLOPED by Hurricane Andrew in '92. Since then, they moved inland about 20 miles to Beverly Hills in the early 00s before Mom died in 2006. Dad's home is still there. I'm SOOOO glad he's up here with us as there are mandatory evacuations where he lives as it's going to be directly in the eye of the storm and far, FAR worse than Andrew.

I have a niece that lives in Homosassa Springs too. She's an IDIOT and refuses to go to a shelter even with a mandatory evacuation. They've only lived in FL for 5 years and just don't believe HOW bad it will be there in the flood plains area on the Gulf Coast where they live a mile or so from where my folks' home once stood (destroyed in Hurricane Andrew)... You can't tell some people anything.

So, what WAS that white thing falling off the cliff?
