who DO advocate seizure...

Dianne Feinstein, one of the writers and supporters of the Clinton Era 'assault weapons' ban was very open about it. They passed the bill that they could pass. Not the bill they wanted. She was VERY open and honest (I'll at least give her credit for honesty), when she said, that IF she could have gotten the votes she WOULD have written seizure into the bill. Her desired outcome WAS to simply have the gov't go out and pick up all of those particular firearms.

So, I don't think that seizure IS just a conspiracy theory in that there ARE high level politicians in our nation who ARE working as diligently towards seizure as they can. Now, how likely are they to succeed? VERY unlikely today. But who knows in another ten, twenty or thirty years.

And when you start by accusing everyone who even brings up the possibility of seizure as a conspiracy theorist, it is going to be very difficult to have a rational conversation.

Remember that just before our revolution the Crown tried to seize privately held firearms. Hitler's gov't did the same. The same has occurred in a number of places. IMO it would be somewhat na´ve to presume that it could NEVER happen here. Especially when there ARE political leaders working towards it.

until the other person starts talking about a conspiracy theory about seizure. Then, the conversation is over.

So why limit yourself to rejecting that about which you are displaying the same irrational dismissal? It seems like an unfair mental block on your part.
