Behavior modification

No policy about guns resolves misuse. If one did the trick, it would leap out and grab out attention. Instead, the same people propose the same old tired arguments, insisting they will work, when they're clueless. Clinton is in her pulpit dredging up her old, tired diatribes. Politicians play tug of war with this issue resolving nothing.

Behavior modification is better because it's closer to the source. Somehow we have to get into the brain and switch off the triggers that lead to violence against other people with use of a deadly weapon. We're not even close to identification of the triggers, if in fact there are any. Even if identified, one then faces legislation that cuts through living tissue. Look at how abortion turned out. Wasn't that resolved nicely, and it is nowhere near as difficult as neuroscience. Or in Trump's case, Neroscience.

Growing up we watched a show with a mischievous little boy with tousled blonde hair who was such a menace to those around him... you know the story. Here at the other side of the great life arc, we have him as president. Aren't we lucky? Ask Mr. Wilson.
