The flippin' out is that he LIED about it.

The phrase itself was very poorly executed and flubbed, no doubt about that. However, I think that most people are uncomfortable with expressing condolences, especially when they live in a fishbowl, knowing every word will be scrutinized.

He should have written it down and read it to be sure he said it carefully in the way that Kelly told him to say it. He didn't. Woulda shoulda coulda isn't the problem here.

The PROBLEM is that, once it became obvious that his words "landed poorly" and the family's close friend, Congresswoman Wilson, made it public (since the family couldn't exactly call tRUMP to say so), any NORMAL human being would have quickly offered an apology and done their best to "fix it". What they WOULDN'T have done is automatically LIED about it and claim they did NOT say those words.

tRUMP is not a normal human being. That he reacted by immediately lying and attacking says ALL we need to know about him. As if all of the other completely inappropriate crap he's done wasn't already enough.

So, lose the idea that it's "just about tRUMP hatred". NO, it's not. It's about one MORE lie and disgusting action from someone in the highest office of this country. It's shameful, it's disgusting, and it's downright scary that this man is in the oval office.
