His Guardian Angel's Watch
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fxLPk8MKmzw

If you watch and listen to this and are not moved, then I can't help you.

Not you specifically. You the listener. I can't help the morally dead who show up in multiple aliases to call this and other works boring elevator music, or make personal accusations from his own house of deviance. Of course he is a hare's breath away from a court summons too. Every unwanted visit to personally harass is saved as evidence, and there is enough to show a persistent pattern with cause for intervention.

Their criticism speaks volumes about them.

We perform this annually for the International Fallen Firefighters Memorial.

This is the final movement of A Beautiful Life, arranged for a soprano soloist, sung by J. Candib of the Colorado Springs Chorale. The work was originally written for Jon Tumilson and Hawkeye, whose devotion in service inspired the music.

It is hard to perform this piece because of the tears it always manages to pull.

It was set into motion by the World Trade Center attack of 11 September 2001, and the many examples of service, devotion, dedication, bravery, and courage that followed and continue in all walks of life.

This was first performed for the 2015 International Fallen Firefighters Memorial

The lyrics are strongly metaphorical

My master sleeps, but his fallen star
shall always shine for me.
I am his guardian angel's watch,
faithful with reverie.

I am my master's faithful friend
and so I shall always be,
I am his guardian angel's watch,
faithful with reverie.

My beloved sleeps, but his endless love
will live through all eternity.
Right here I will be
until the hour I am taken,
When God sets me free.
Forever in paradise!

Master sleeps, but his rising star
shall always shine for me.
I am his guardian angel's watch,
faithful with reverie.

I am my master's faithful friend
and so I shall always be,
I am his guardian angel's watch,
faithful with reverie.

My beloved sleeps, but his endless love
will live through all eternity.
Right here I will be
until the hour I am taken,
When God sets me free.
Forever in paradise!

Master sleeps, but his risen star
shall always shine for me.
I am his guardian angel's watch,
faithful with reverie.

This concludes A Beautiful Life, which Solus begins. Solus is descent into the abyss. The following two movements, Breath of Life and Hope are the transition. Breath is the climb back up out of the pit, and Hope is the turn. His Guardian Angel's Watch is the conclusion, saying we are each other's guardian angel's watch- meaning that hope, change and healing come from us. It isn't "trickle down," but "rising up"- the sum of our collective work and effort that rises and lifts us all.

We can neither depend on the wealthy, or look to them as examples, or for hope. Solution to our problems and troubles won't come down from them. It will come from us. It doesn't trickle down. It rises up. We rise up. That the opposition have it exactly backward should surprise nobody. They will be among the last to understand this.
