that he had the smoothest skin imaginable. Unlined and barely any wrinkles at all. Just a few "crinkles" around his eyes is all. Minutes before he died, in spite of all he'd been through and losing about 15 pounds in a very short time, he STILL looked SO amazing. It belied the aged heart, kidneys, liver, and lungs inside. He seemed to have found a fountain of youth that he passed on to most of us kids, at least on the outside.

He was still DRIVING and very capable of it 2 months before he died. Once he got sick, he no longer drove, for obvious reasons. But he passed his yearly licensing tests with flying colors.

I miss him so much.

    I see 65 year olds who look and act 98. But we cannot cheat the "contract." A "battery" cannot be recharged forever. Not yet. Blowing trillions of dollars on war prevents that ultimate discovery.
