Because I am a "qualified performing artist," I get several 1099s from ensembles I work for, and also have my own business in commercial music. I have a small pension from my years in education too.

Any increase in taxes for me will be hard, and require cuts in things most people would not blink an eye over, like foods I buy, use of heat and hot water, and transportation expenses.

I am developing a real, genuine hatred for Trump. If he drops dead, I will be happy, and I hate him for making me feel that way.

He has eyes on the vast public lands of the American west, with intent to reduce government holdings as much as possible, lying to people that as reported, "Trump has framed the move as a response to government overreach: "I have come to Utah to take a very historic action: to reverse federal overreach and restore the rights of this land to your citizens," he said.

These lands are open to ALL American people just as they are. You can hike, hunt, fish, camp, look for minerals, to your heart's content, and you don't have to ask anyone for permission.

Mining companies have a history of forcefully and violently resisting "trespass" on their claims, and the specific lands Trump targeted have large uranium reserves. When the oil companies got a hold of the Naval Oil Reserve oil shales all over W Co, ALL public access was cut off, and even with special permission to trespass, which they rarely grant, you have to sign legal waivers of all kinds of agreements and stipulations, worse than closing a mortgage! Includes prohibition of your heirs from suing in case you get hurt or die from something the oil company does that kills you.

I guess you must have a rather larger variety of deductions than the norm. I on the other hand am different too. Just have the wife's small pension and my farm income, which has been negative for the ... more
