What's the old saying, a secret shared is a secret no more?

I'm not doubting it would be fairly easy to keep such a secret from you or me. Really all they have to do to achieve that is keep it out of the hands of the media.

But I think it would be a LOT harder to keep it out of the hands of EVERYONE at the White House. Remember that the nations federal level law enforcement agencies fall under the executive branch. And there are LOTS of employees in those agencies who would be involved with such an investigation. IMO while it would be not THAT surprising that they would choose not to go to the press about it, I would be a bit surprised if they didn't talk amongst themselves enough that the word would get INTERNALLY up to the white house.

I'm not saying it's impossible, just a bit implausible.
