That's a construct for the argument. There's no ethical or moral issue if the laws are followed. Why should there always be a way so that the political party does't flip? The party control in the House and Senate remains intact. The acting President becomes a placeholder until the next election. Too me when you frame the discussion from the beginning as a 'coup', you've already inferred some sort of lack of integrity in the process. It doesn't have to be that way. It can be or may often be, but it does not have to be. In the end, what happened with during Nixon worked out. As a matter of fact, I don't think the GOP would mind 'Placeholder Pelosi' at all... ha ha...
