IMO the big picture ideals aren't bad... but when one puts them into a PLAN, it has to be something that can reasonably be implemented in the real world...

And while transitioning away from nuclear power isn't necessarily a bad idea, the idea that it can be totally replaced with all reactors decommissioned in 10 years is ludicrous. Especially if one is supposed to AT THE SAME TIME phase out coal, oil, natural gas, etc...

And while at the same time, theoretically at least, rebuilding ALL other buildings in the nation to make them more energy efficient.

She is right about one thing... doing even SOME of that would take mobilizing the national economy essentially the same way it was during WWII with EVERY aspect of the economy focused on that one thing... But even that I don't think would do it.

And that completely disregards the tax rates that would have to be applied to ALL people (not just the top few) to pay for even a PORTION of that.
