Ramsey Clark's letter for Jeff

Friends--

Here is the letter than Ramsey promised me he would write for Jeff. I think it is very good, very persuasive.

I had to get a box of Kleenex when I read it because Ramsey mentions the case of Carlos Santana who was also a victim of the law of parties. Carlos was my dear friend/comrade and Ramsey was his appeal attorney. We witnessed the execution together back on March 23, 1993 at 3:30 in the morning. That was back when executions were at midnight. There was no partition in between Carlos and us so we were able to talk until right up to the execution. Ramsey had filed so many different things in the courts that the final ruling didn't come until 3:30 in the morning.

I will cut and paste and put it here and the file is attached -- I am sure it looks better formatted.

Hope to see everyone in Austin at 12 noon Saturday for the Rally for Jeff Wood!
