Name is Ed White driver of track 42 HQ Platoon If you could put up the pics you took at Mace i could tell you if you happened to get a snap shot of me. What do you mean by OJT on a sheridan? I was talking about having to take OJT on the radar as i was never trained on how to operate it. So now here i am i'm out here and i always stand up except when i'm being shot at :)
During my training in knox i drove every tank the army had to offer plus the fact i was trained on how to set up and calibrate the laser guidance system and fire the missile so i'm fully aware of how to operate them.does the name Sgt alverez ring a bell? he was our tank commander for a short time but after april 1st 1970 he transferred to another unit. I think he was going crazy from the heat:)

The Cobra was in radio contact with our LT on the ground. He was told to do what he had to do. The rest is history. Gen. should not have been on the ground doing a sweep. Read a couple different... more
