When the Headlines Steal Your Storyline

Well crap. I was outlining a story just before Halloween. I was working on filling out the story when I stumbled into this "news" story...

Okay, it was not THAT article I stumbled into. I just like Ozzyman's humor. I forgot what news carried the Kardashian VS Angels story I first saw. The problem with them doing this was my story was about two girls dressing as VS Angels for a Halloween party. No matter how I tried to rewrite the story, it always came up as me ripping off the Kardashians. I deleted the story attempt, as unoriginal. Perhaps silly to delete it, but my heart was no longer into the storyline, and my head was only seeing them as I attempted to write. My characters were lost.
