To my knowledge, both the Stryker Rejuvenate and ABG II stems were voluntarily recalled by Stryker in July of 2012 because of rare incidents of fretting and corrosion at the modular neck junctions. Both stems have the same modular neck, which is why they were both recalled. I donít know that the incidence of problems was higher with the Rejuvenate than the ABG II; to my knowledge, the incidence was about the same with both (but also low in both cases). As long as you are doing well and not having symptoms, I would not worry about it. Pain will usually be the first sign of a problem.
