leg length discrepancy
Tue Aug 25, 2009 7:34pm

hello.. I had a total hip and came out about 4 cm long on the operated side, that is about one and a half inches. I can not wear any of my shoes. I had to have the un-operated side built up in a huge shoe lift for which I feel terribly self conscious of. This still does not relieve all of my back pain.... what else can be done? I have read that revisions are very risky, but I am only 50 yrs old, and it just doensnt seem right that I should have to live this way. My surgeon did not have any answers and was very reluctant to talk about it.
