I know very little about this womans case so I cannot comment on guilt or innocence ( but a convicted in Texas the chances are the woman is innocent). My opinion was concerning her being abused by prison officials and people not being appalled. Its wrong that people can be outraged that an innocent person is abused, yet finds the same abuses ok if the person is guilty! By agreeing with this behaviour these officials become a law to themselves and don't know where to draw the line. This is probably why Texas officials treat visitors with total disregard and disrespect. They have demonized prisoners to the point where the public think its justified to treat these prisoners worse than animals that they should be tortured. Whatever these people have done they are going to pay the ultimate price. The least they deserve is to be treated with dignity. By treating them the way they do it shows the monsters and the pyschopaths are the officials they are as bad as the inmates they condemn these officials take pleasure out of torturing these men and woman but they answer to no one because the public believe the spin. Let's not forget this state was still executing kids upto a couple of years ago how can you say a 16, 17, year old is beyond redemption? When we stay silent about abuses any abuses it gives these people the greenlight to do worse because they don't know where to draw the line they are out of control already but no one does any thing. We are all guilty of allowing prison officials to take too many liberties!

This just confirms what I wrote we all turn a blind eye to the abuses which is totally unacceptable but I believe prison abuses and long sentences all tie in. They dish out long sentences this makes... more
