Buck was sentenced to death for two attempted capital murders and two capital murders, which were all premeditated, murdering his ex wife in front of their two children as they begged him not to murder her ' he murdered her in front of the children and laughed about it when the cops arrived.

The two psychiatrists testified that Buck was at reduced risk of being a future danger, even though blacks in general have a higher recidivism rate, WHICH DID NOT APPLY to Buck.
