7mm Herringbone Sheet

I got a footstool in that appears to be wrapped in a sheet of herringbone cane, but it's very wide - 6mm to 7mm and the widths are somewhat inconsistent. Has anyone else run into this or know of a supplier who can provide a 24" width of this material? As always, many thanks for everyone's expertise and thoughts!

        You called and talked to both Mike Frank and Ray DeFranchesco at both places? And VI Reed, Peerless Rattan and everyone? And they all said there wasn't anything that would work as a substitute... more

          Yep. Doesn't appear to be anything in a sheet with a gauge wide enough. It wouldn't be such an issue if the customer didn't have another stool, but she does... and they have to match. If worse comes... more
