I too, get chairs in a series now that I've moved up to northeastern Minnesota. A few at a time, then it seems like I get several at t a time.
When I was in a more highly populated area in southern Minnesota near Rochester and the Twin Cities, it was constant and I had people on a long waiting list.
It seems to help a bit to post lots of pictures and make comments on your Facebook profile page or business page if you have one. Then too, do you go out and demonstrate your chair caning anywhere and pass out your business cards?
And do you have your business cards out at all the antique shops, historical societies, art galleries or craft stores, refinishing shops, and posted on bulletin boards in the stores around you? How about running an ad in a fr*ee shopper if your community has them?
Are you a member of any clubs, organizations, women's groups, Chamber of Commerce where you can give speeches and talks? How about historical societies?
