I have to sit- a rare illness attacked my spinal cord in 2007 and I am blessed to be able to walk and use my hands but standing for long periods of time still gets to me. I sit on an over sized Arts and Crafts era oak stool just 11 inches off the ground. It's the right height for me to weave seats I wove the stools seat in 3/8 diameter nylon rope for comfort:

I have a T.V. in my studio too for watching movies.
