I stand for regular hand weaving and have 2 "stations", with floor mats, and in an extra room.
One 'station" for chairs, and is an old Engineers drafting table , and had belonged to my Father-in-law. ( whom I loved dearly )
The other is for rockers, or long backs, and is just an old kitchen expandable table, long enough for all that kind of work.
I do kneel to do the pre-woven on seats, and don't know why--- but I am thinking that I will soon have to stop doing that ! The old knees are giving out after all this time.
The engineers table has deep, deep drawers and are full of tools. I kind of hoard tools, and do not need all I have, but can't seem to part with any of them. I lost a pair of needle nosed pliers once, and cannot find a similar pair, so, guess I try to replace it with 10 others, but nothing will replace my favorite pair !
