Dimpling of the binder

I had a very stubborn binder a few weeks ago, and have a small hint for all of you. ( or perhaps you already do this )

Jim Widess tells us to press down on the "weaver" , with a peg, after pulling it down---

I have been pressing down on the BINDER itself, with a peg, to "soften" it up and dimple it before pulling the weaver all the way tight. It seems to help quite a bit, and the dimple is more easily done.

You have to be careful, being sure the binder is still wet, and "know" your material. If it is a little old be very careful, as you will go right through.

I know this takes more time, and to some of you it is not feasable, but with just a few customers I can take the extra time to dimple the binder, as I like that look a lot !

Never to old to learn !
