I am a new member of the forum with a question about a project that just came into our shop. I am sending a photo to Cathryn to post on the picture trail of a pair of chairs made using 3/8" wire reinforced fiber rush. These are really great looking chairs, or will be, but I have never seen any like them. If anyone has any knowledge about the history or maker of the chairs I would love to here about it. I have located a fiber rush manufacturer that will make the material for me, but in talking with three large cane importers, nobody remembers seeing rush material this size. Any information would be helpful. I will post the project on my blog when completed. Thanks, Joe
