Thanks for your generous offer Katherine. The rush on these chairs is actually 3/8" (12/32). I have located a source that will make it for me. If that doesn't work out, we will restore the chairs using round reed. When we first saw photos of the chairs I told my client "no problem" because I assumed they were reed because of the size. I guess you can't see everything in an email photo! I'll post photos of the completed chairs once done, probably in September. I think this will be a fun project.
