Yes I know what you mean. I saw an "old Hickory" foot stool listed as "Mid Century Modern" so I sent the seller this message: "if you want to reach the right market for this style of furniture you need to call it an "old Hickory." she took my advice and changed the title and description of her listing. I heard from her later that she got a bid within an hour of making the correction.

This chair looks worth restoration and for no more than they are asking it could be turned over for a profit if you live close enough to drive. I'd be sure to use the solid weave pressed cane and not an open weave.
