Thanks Dan - I will try drilling them out. I had tried an awl and hammer but they weren't budging at all. Appreciate the info

      Some books advise pegging every other hole - the holes not occupied by the strand retaining the binder. I drill them out to get a clean hole free of glue or anything that might hinder pulling strands ... more
