Hi Dave,

Welcome to the Chair Caning Forum! It doesn't matter what the circumstances were regarding your learning of the craft, but rather that you learned it and have been making something good come of your past.

Embrace your good fortune now and keep thinking positively that you are in the flow of what your soul is here to learn. Even seemly negative events are a learning process and show you what you are to be and do in this lifetime.

It is possible to make a good living in chair caning, but there is a limit to how many chairs you can weave in a day of course. So you need good business practices, have a proper pricing schedule so you make enough to cover overhead and make a profit, advertise and get your name out to your prospective customers, and perfect your craft so you are putting out the best product possible.

We're here to help, so just let me/us know how we can serve!
