I don't know anything about advertising on Craigs List, but I do want to remind everyone about the Furniture Repair Directory™ I have on my website that lists Chair Caning, Upholstery, Refinishing and Wicker repair experts all across the country and into Canada.

Annual ad cost is very reasonable and extremely effective and we're always high up in the search engines! Many advertisers have been with me since the Directory started, way back in 2004, nearly 15 years ago! Thank you all so much for our business and personal relationship, you mean the world to me in more ways than you know.

So if you are located in the US or Canada and want to take out an ad, just go to the Advertise page on my website. Fill out the form as you want your ad to appear, add all your social networks, including The SeatWeavers' Guild, Inc.®, attach one photo per ad category you sign up for, make your payment through Paypal and you're all set!

New ads will be featured for a month and will also be listed on the Homepage sidebar and the blog sidebars, too, under Recent Listings. And if you are on Instagram and Facebook and have posted your handle, watch for some tagging happening!

Yes, I did. There were a few posts relating to buying and selling caned chairs but not about selling services.

I am aware and it is a great service. Over the last 18 years or so, I've maintained just the right amount of work mostly through contacts at a few local antique dealers and also by word of mouth. For ... more

For your purposes I’d avoid Craig’s List and instead send a thank you to all your goodnrecent customers along with 2-3 of your biz cards. Revisit the antique stores with some of your cards, etc.... more
