Hi John,

Welcome and thanks for introducing yourself to us, John. What state are you located in? We might be able to point you to a fellow seat weaver if we knew that. Happy to hear we have another chair nerd that we can add to our growing craft community!

You can go to the Seatweaving FAQ page of my website at https://www.wickerwoman.com/seatweaving-faq there you will find the ten or so books that I highly recommend every seat weaver has in their personal reference library. These books all have a variety of patterns, designs and materials used to really round out your repertoire.

You might also be interested in joining our chair caning guild and attending our 12th Annual Gathering in Michigan in late July. Check out our website at http://seatweaversguild.org Hope to see you on our member roster soon!

Happy Weaving!
