We had a good time this weekend, Sunday's battle was one othe best large scale battles I have been in. Even though the weather was hot a lot of great action.
There are a couple things that need to be looked into, one is no Porta Johns down at the bottom of Confederate camp. Always been there few years I have attended the event. This upset some of the ladies with small childern having to do the long walk at night in the dark. The other is, it is time to have a nice dance for the ladies. If the young lady wearing the white dress had not started calling the dances, this years dance would have been a flop. My hat is off to her for her hard work. I understand that everyone has a limited amount of money to spend, but you can get a nice period band with caller for less than 1000 Yankee dollars. I know, I have done it, this year with great results and everyone had a geat time. If anyone would like information, let me know, and I will get it to you. Keep up the hard work, just want the event to get better.
