Visited the Shiloh event site yesterday with the event organizers. VERY impressed with the site.

Site is conveniently located off a major road. Entrance is easily seen and logistically located. Well laid out as far as registration (and parking for that) then entrance into camps. Available nice hotels within 10 miles.

Flat with slightly rolling terrain on the battlefield.

Planned camps are well laid out with plenty of room and easy access to the battlefield. Surrounding country is very nice with no modern intrusion. You will fee you have gone back in time. Camps ahve easy access to water and portapots. Sutlers will be close. Reenactor parking will be convenient.

Site conditions are being upkept by local volunteers and once again look nice. Land has been clered and is continuing to be cleared. Camps could be occupied today!
