Hello Isabella,
spoodles are wonderful family companions. My spoodle who is 15 months old love being with the kids. She does love to be walked every day. As they are very smart dogs obedience training will benefit both you and your puppy. They are very social dogs and love play dates. I feed Asha a barf diet which a get at the local pet suppliers which is really good for her coat. I have attached a link of a great book I had the opportunity to review recently which is available on amazon books. It is a really great resource if you own a spoodle or are looking to buy one. They are called cockapoos in the US. The best thing is that spoodles don't shed hair and leave a mess and are allergy free. They do require a brush and a regular clip. Some breeders are better than others but depending where you live. I have had a lab before Asha and after having Asha in our family since she was 8 weeks old I wouldn't have any other type of dog. I am an asthmatic and she doesn't set off my allergies which is great. I really do love this breed of dog.
Good luck with your search.

Please check your breeder out before purchasing. View both parents and the area where they are kept etc there are so real dodgy people out there who breed for money rather than a lifetime companion.... more
