This is probably another red herring, but in the 1991 revision of the Sacred Harp, tune 149 is called The Trumpet, with composer given as J. Williams, 1831.

Its metre is 11.12.12.12, with verses starting - 1. The chariot, the chariot, its wheels roll in fire,
And 3. The trumpet, the trumpet, the dead all have heard,

I have this one in memory because at a Shape-note meeting in Oldham recently, I was called to choose the next piece, and not being prepared or experienced I picked this. It wasn`t as easy as it looked.
