I had always thought from the pictures and descriptions of Surrey Chapel that there was no separate choir and the congregation joined in all the musical items in services

And as there were often ~2000 in the congregation it would be difficult to get a list of choir members.

However adverts for Novello's Surrey Chapel Music in the Musical Times (admittedly a bit later in 1846) says it includes "pieces ... for the use of the Surrey Chapel choir"

So, perhaps I am wrong.
