The next three days...

Hi, web updates not gone too well this year (and I seem to have missed my payment to get rid of board ads). Has anyone seen The Next Three Days yet? The UK doesn't get it until the new year. The score (btw humble thanks to donor) riffs quite a bit on Red Dragon and a little on The Kingdom; still hints of Serenada in the string and piano writing though - that piece really has informed his style recently, and I think that's probably a good thing for CD listeners in terms of musical flow. In those terms at any rate it's a part return to mid-90's form. I can't quite claim, though, that this score is distinctive enough to rate as high on other counts, and the genre of the film has to have had a hand in it. But I never trust my first impressions, especially before seeing the film!

Yeah at times the movie is quite boring.. Bits of Hulk too, "Hulk Out" the cello part (?). The music in the van scene is quite interesting and the highlight must be in the action scene. Couldn't... more
