"Cool!" He said in response to the fox thing. Being a fox would be a cool thing. He didn't even know what sort of form he would take on. Maybe, he thought, someday he would become a registered animagus. After graduation. Then maybe he could have something neat... finally something better than his siblings.

He helped himself to a huge spoonful of spagetti, practically inhaling it. He ate a lot. His Mom always told him he had two empty legs by the way he just shovelled food down all the time. He was still growing they said, though he hoped not. He found himself already a bit too tall. He felt like he intimidated people somehow. He'd stretched past Seth now, and was growing outward unlike his siblings. His shoulders were broadening out in a way he found unsettling. Asha told him, well visiting, that he should try out for a beater on the Quidditch team and he figured he could give it a shot... though he had a thing about being on brooms.

He watched as she stabbed her fork at nothing and he couldn't help but smile, laughing faintly.

"My summer was awful." He told her honestly, rolling his eyes, though playfully. It wasn't that bad... in that it was just as bad as usual. "My family is kind of crazy. But I suppose you know that already."

He shovelled more food in and looked around the room absentmindedly before settling back on her after swallowing. Hastily he wiped his face with his napkin. "How was yours?"
