A Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher who was curse? For a moment he always said that he might not be very good at his job then, but held it back knowing that might be rude. Actually, in fact, it would be rude. Best keep it to himself. Obviously his family was rubbing off on him a bit. He felt himself flush slightly at his silent thought and nodded his head eagerly at her story.

"Was his memory obliterated or something?" He rested his weight on his elbows, his expression one of great interest. "That happened to an uncle of mine, but he was found living with elephants in Asia, couldn't remember his name or anything. He still only talks in hums and says he's speaking elephant through vibrations." Okay... off topic. "He has no idea who did it? How did they get him to remember?"

Maybe he was being too nosey. But she didn't seem to mind talking about it. He loved hearing stories like that. He wondered what it would be like to wake up somewhere and not have any clue how you got there.
