Headmaster Grace
Lockstone Trip
Sun Nov 7, 2010 10:56am

Where that pitiful excuse for a Deputy Headmistress was, Headmaster Grace hadn't the slightest idea. He'd laid the paperwork on her desk in plain sight for her to organize the first Lockstone trip of the year, for third years and up, but - somehow - she was not standing at the door taking tally of students when he emerged on the chilly fall morning.

So he, himself, had to tick students off one by one while they left, nodding to this one or that, avoiding the eyes of that one sixth-year girl who was wearing far too much makeup and gave him a sly smile.

Halfway through the line of students leaving the school, he summoned his trench coat, realizing he'd certainly have to accompany the lot down to the village. When the first adult he'd seen so far walked down the hallway in passing, Headmaster Grace stopped them, ticking off the last names from the list, and explained, not a little wry, "Excellent timing. We're in dire need of a second chaperon."

OOC: Link to Lockstone! 3rd years and up. Enjoy!
