Damon Clay and Howl Saltzman
Plotting. Or something. And using the Muggle-Born.

Damon stared down at the letter he'd received from his father in a worried fashion; he never, ever got a letter from Drake. Worse was the fact that Cyan usually wrote to him twice a week, and now he hadn't heard from her for two months at least. His father told him she was badly ill with bronchitis, but still, that wouldn't stop her writing for two months.

Damon had to stay at school for Christmas, partly because Drake was too busy working with his Anti-Muggle group, partly because Drake wanted him to look into the Robeless. He'd said in his letter - God knows how he found out about them - that they obviously had to disappear. And fast. He figured if he made Gilly feel sorry for him, he could get some information on Arlis Batrice - or possibly Kim Baden - use that information to hurt one of them, then the Robeless could die. Hell, maybe he'd even get Sloane and Emma Westbrook to help him. They seemed to be into that whole thing.

Howl Saltzman sat down a few seats away from him. He hadn't spoken to him for a while. Drake forbade it. His hair was looking even more ridiculous. Damon turned away. No way would he be any help - but... hadn't he been with Kim Baden for a while?
Fantastic.
Damon scooted a few places over and stared for a moment - luckily Howl was looking the other direction - wondering how to get something out of him. He looked up as someone else sat down, slightly annoyed that they'd disturbed his thoughts.

    • I'm just the one you need to talk to, right?Dae Slate, Mon Dec 20 5:47pm
Dae Slate stared curiously across the table at the boy there. Damon Clay. He knew who he was. Sloane and Emma and Torn, whom he'd sat with before, had mentioned him. Apparently he was engaged to... more
      • Oh... fantastic.Damon and Howl, Mon Dec 20 7:24pm
Howl grinned at the sound of Slate's voice, and he looked up from his DADA homework. "Slate!" he laughed, promptly forgetting completely about whatever it was he'd been doing a few minutes ago. Slate ... more
        • I know, right??Slate, Mon Dec 20 8:29pm
"That's stupid," Slate scoffed, offended. "Who's your sister?" He didn't know Howl'd had a sister, but then again, he was on half the time and off the other half. He caught some things and the rest... more
          • Couldn't have thought of a better place to sit today!Damon and Howl, Tue Dec 21 7:31pm
"Flora; she's in Quesne, started this year." Howl shrugged. She was great, really, they'd just not spoken a lot since starting school. That was a good thing though - he was glad Flora wasn't relying... more
            • "Don't know her," Slate shrugged, instantly uninterested. Clearly she didn't have any good ideas about hair color anyway, so he wasn't going to give her that much thought. Flora. Huh. He'd remember... more
              • Don't get cocky, now.Damon and Howl, Thu Dec 23 11:19am
"I'm not sure," Howl said, furrowing his eyebrows. In all honesty, he was actually terrible at using hair dye, sometimes ending up with a funny coloured forehead after he'd finished. He shrugged and... more
                • Why not? I can't help it if I'm awesomeSlate, Thu Dec 23 1:59pm
Slate, who considered himself to have an excellent temperament, was beginning to get a little annoyed himself. Sure, he didn't know half of what he was talking about, but that wasn't for Damon to... more
                  • *An idiotDamon and Howl, Thu Dec 23 5:00pm
Damon followed Slate up and slammed his hands down on the table, making several people's glasses tip over. "What's everyone saying then?" his heart raced as he waited for an answer. He didn't know... more
