Oh good, I like spring. And with spring comes...

Sarah had a rather slow morning and had no excuse for being late for breakfast except that she got caught up in reading a novel. It didn't happen often anymore, that loss of time and the real world for fiction. She made her way to breakfast. It was one of those mornings Jered would sleep in, having a late start today and a late finish the night before.

She didn't generally have a chance to come to the court for meals, besides the beginning or end of term feasts. For at least the next couple weeks she'd be in between winter colds and flus and spring fever and allergies.

When she came in she looked around at the other adults, finding an empty seat near Devon. There was a woman she didn't know next to him. As she came up, a smile slowly waning on her lips, she started noticing details. The sun dress, the dreads, the accessories... Only her demeanor seemed more like a princess, rather than Cassie's pure good there-ness. Sarah thought it was a little odd. It was too close. She didn't look at Devon in question, though. Did he know and finding a different way to compensate this time around? Was that healthy?

"Good morning," Sarah said, smiling again as she got to the table. "Mind if I sit here Headmaster?" she asked, waiting to be allowed before taking the spot. "I don't think we've met, " she said to the blond. "I'm Sarah Mason," she said, looking intently at the blond.
