Detective Ravenscroft
Ending the year with a bang
Sun Feb 13, 2011 8:15pm

Ravenscroft was disappointed at the rather easy arrested of Anderson. He had so hoped to continue this a little further along, but it seemed the children didn't want to play for long. She left, more than likely accepting her fate in the hands of one of the aurors he left near the dining hall.

Ignoring Winchester's questions for the time being, Ravenscroft stared unwaveringly at Grace as he slowly withdrew a very shiny pair of handcuffs from one of his pockets—he had polished them before he left for the school that morning, relishing the thought of what was to come.

“I'm sure you remember these,” he grinned at Devon, his eyes flitting briefly over to Eve and then back again. Before Devon had a chance to respond, the handcuffs were flying out of Ravenscrofts hands like a bullet to latch loudly and dreadfully around the headmaster's lithe wrists. The second the metallic clicks sounded, Eve doubled over with a sudden bout of deafening laughter. Ravenscroft couldn't hold back a few chortles, himself. Without warning, Devon's body locked rigidly, and he hovered two feet from the ground.

Harper suddenly fancied a larger audience.

Ravenscroft began making his way to the exit, his index finger beckoning Devon's form to follow magically along behind, hardly caring whether or not the three remaining women followed or not.

Going down the steps again, Ravenscroft tapped the evidence in the pocket against his chest again. Not saying anything until he reached the other two aurors and Anderson, who was ready to depart at any time, he finally turned around, his eyes glinting. His gaze zeroed in on the woman with the dreadlocks. “Ah, Miss Locke,” he said, addressing her for the first time. With another wave of his wand, Cassandra's nose stud lazily floated to him. “I'm afraid I must take this,” he said, sounding anything but regretful.

With a few 'tsks,' Ravenscroft smirked at Devon and said, “You should know better than that, my boy.”
