question about court Hearing...

Though I have read Steve Lubet's book a couple years ago at least four times, underlined and made notes in the margins, I cannot remember for sure if, during the Tombstone Hearing, any witnesses were allowed to be in the courtroom while other witnesses were testifying. I guess I could go back page by page, but.....
Steve Gatto would probably have noticed as well as Lubet. Can anyone steer me in the right direction?
