Thank you for your comments. I think you are as close as anyone in determining the situation. I tend to think the witnesses were sequestered because it seems unlikely, that with some of the convaluted testimony, one or more would not lean over to their lawyer and point out opportunities to contradict some of the testimony.
Just my thoughts.
