It has been a long time since our friend, John, passed away. I have to say I still miss him very much. He was the first person I talked with early in the morning; always brightened my day.
To his wife, who he referred to as Ma, and his generous daughter, I want to say that I can only imagine what an empty spot there is in your lives. I often wonder how Mackie is getting on.
Thank you for helping John with your patience and generosity whenever he wanted to mail packages and letters to his friends. Things that were so appreciated. He couldn't have done many things without the effort you were willing to put forth.
I share your lonliness at times when I stop to think about the fiesty old guy and what fun we had with our history interests and our plans for Clanton's Coffee Saloon. John was really excited about that.
Thank you for sharing him with me. He was such a good, good friend, and by extension, so were you.
