DD 15 has a really short summer this year and pretty much committed every day of it. She's working as a camp aide at her youth theatre the first 4 weeks and then finish with 4 weeks of studying and performing Shakespeare (her idea of heaven.) She's starting at the community college in the fall and so there are assessments, registering for classes, all that to figure out and get done. She is also researching what she needs to get a driver's permit when she is eligible in the fall.

DD 11 really wanted to play basketball this summer so he joined a league and we're already in full gear. He continues with karate and piano all summer. He signed up for a week of robotics camp. Otherwise, we're looking at sleep-overs and outings with friends.

No family trip unfortunately. DD can't leave and DH is not quite ready to take a family trip without her. I might steal him away for a couples weekend though and maybe we can manage a weekend in the local mountains for camping!

We miss you... drop me and email and we can chat. Obviously the group is no more. Maybe someone will pick up the idea in the fall. FWIW - there is an awesome tween/HS group where I am.
