Books suggestions for 5 year old
Mon Sep 17, 2012 06:18

I am having trouble finding books that are appropriate for my son who just started Kindergarten. The school says they are going to give him non-fiction because they don't want to give themes that are too old. He has enjoyed fantasy but he does get scared sometimes - looking for things not to violent or potty humor. They told me reading level was grade 4.5.

Series he loved this summer - Calvin Coconut, Geronimo Stilton, A to Z mysteries, Beast Quest, Secrets of Droon
He's read but not crazy about - Magic tree house, clementine, Ramona and other easy reading mysteries - cam janson, etc.
Any suggestions?!
