Boo and Racer's Mom
Re: Books suggestions for 5 year old

Hi - What a fun age! At that age my kids enjoyed (and they still re-read some of these): Boxcar Kids, Little House Books, Ricky Ricotta books (my son likes that these books have "flip-o-rama" and drawing instructions), Calvin and Hobbes, Stuart Little books, Frog and Toad Chapter books...

My son (6), recently, has become enamored with the Oragami Yoda series. Like the Pinkley (Ricky Ricotta, Captain Underpants)books, it contains a how-to section on how to create the characters through oragami. He's diligently learning oragami and it's history as a result of this series.

Wish I could think of more!
