Hello, I have a High Standard Victor and am looking for some basic information. I believe that the first letter of the serial number is "M" but even under a magnifying glass it looks like it could be either an "M" or and "H". The rest of the serial number is L75604.
My questions are:
1) Is there only one model of Victor and if there are multiple models what is the exact model name.
2) I recently joined a range and will be shooting there regularly. Is there any reason that I shouldn't use the Victor as my main practice pistol. I like the fact that it is weighted similar to a larger caliber pistol.
Any additional information about the Victor would be appreciated. I purchased the pistol twenty plus years ago and have only shot it a few times as the purchase was motivated more by lust than the need for a target pistol. (I'm old enough to remember when they used this pistol in the Olympics and it was the first pistol that I coveted as a kid.)
